David Thompson is a practicing lawyer, technical expert, and an attorney at Munger Tolles & Olson LLP. He is the former General Counsel of Reputation.com, Inc.

Highlights of his legal career include clerking for Justice Antonin Scalia of the Supreme Court, and for Chief Judge Alex Kozinski of the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. David has written extensively in legal publications, including an oft-cited statistical analysis of the Supreme Court’s docket.

David received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he graduated second in his class and was awarded the Order of the Coif. He received a B.A. from Yale University, where he graduated cum laude and with distinction.
